Abstract
Objective To evaluate the therapeutic effect and related factors of emergency cervical cerclage on cervial insufficiency first dragnosed in fregnat women. Methods A retrospective analysis was the clinical data of 37 patients diagnosed as cervical incompetence, dilatation of the for 1 to 5 cm and treat by emergency cervical cerclage in Puyang Oilfield General Hospital from January 2015 to June 2017. the differences of gestational weeks prolongation, uterine dilatation, gestational weeks and age between successful group (23 cases) and failed group (14 cases) were compared. Results Among the 37 patients, 14 cases finally had abortion or neonatal death, 23 cases had neonatal survival, and the success rate of operation was 62.16%. The number of days prolonged in the successful group was (65.91 ±18.17)d, while that in the failed group was (29.86 ±19.28)d. There was a significant difference between the two groups (P<0.05). The magnitude of uterine opening in successful group was (1.65 ±0.71)cm, while that in failure group was (3.50 ±1.02)cm, and the difference between the two groups was significant (P<0.05). Conclusions The clinical effect of emergency cerclage on cervial insufficiency first dragnosed in fregnat women is affirmative, which is closely related to the dilatation of the uterine orifice. When the opening of the uterine orifice is larger than 3 cm, the failure rate of operation increases obviously. Key words: Emergency cervical cerclage; Dilatation of the uterine mouth; Cervical insufficiency
