Abstract
The development of regional aviation cannot only positively affect the development of economy, but can also accelerate the building of the domestic local aviation operation system and allow the forming and development of our aviation innovation system to improve our nation's aviation. Based on the review of the domestic and foreign development status of the regional aviation transportation, this paper analyzes the challenges of regional aviation and suggested that safety, quality and benefit should be the goals to improve our regional aviation transportation. The suggestions related to inspiration policy, optimization of the aviation transportation structure and operation paradigms of regional aviation development may help this industry solve its challenges, achieve an effective economic use and the development of our regional aviation transportation and accelerate the development of our aviation so that our civil aviation can shift from the big to the strong.
