Abstract

In order to ensure the anti-rolling stability of vehicle operation, the stiffness, static strength, fatigue strength and lightweight design method of anti-rolling torsion bar are studied. The calculation equation of anti-rolling stiffness of anti-rolling torsion bar is deduced in detail, and the anti-rolling stiffness under two load case is calculated by the finite element model. At the same time, its static strength and fatigue strength are checked. The topology optimization and parameter optimization analysis of torsion bar and torsion arm are carried out, and lightweight design method of torsion bar and torsion arm is studied. The results show that there is little error between the theoretical values and calculated values of anti-rolling stiffness, which confirms the correctness of the stiffness calculation model. and the static strength and fatigue strength of the anti-roll torsion bar fully meet the requirements of relevant technical specifications, the optimum structure obtained by topology optimization and parameter optimization of torsion bar and torsion arm can realize lightweight very well. This study can provide reference for ensuring the safe operation of EMU and the design of anti-roll torsion bar.
