Abstract

The boresight error of an ablating radome is analyzed in this paper. A highly optimized program of multilevel fast multipole algorithm (MLFMA) for volume integral equation (VIE) was developed to deal with the problem with millions of unknows. Results show that the influences of ablation on the boresight error (BSE) and boresight error slope (BSES) could be very significant compared to without ablation.
