Abstract

The aim of this study was to analyze the duration of blackout based on disruption time of medium voltage distribution network in UP3 Menteng. The method used in this study was a descriptive method with a quantitative approach through data collection of blackout times, and the number of distruptions based on their causes during 2019. Based on the study obtained blackout times for 12,116 minutes in medium voltage distribution network were caused by failure of medium voltage fuse breaking, underground medium voltage’s cable, jointing medium voltage’s cable, symphathetic trip or 2 feeders tripped simultaneously, corona, termination underground medium-voltage cable in cubicle, cubicle, current transformer, busbar, transformer, consumer’s installation load, animal, destruction external projects, and others or nor well known. There were the three most longest blackout times in UP3 Menteng caused by jointing medium voltage’s cable for 4,373 minutes, destruction external projects 4,194 minutes, and underground medium voltage’s cable for 1,041 minutes.
