Abstract

Lengthened shrink-fit holder is one important part of high speeding tool system. Its gripping rigidity directly affects the quality of the processed parts and machining efficiency. Building the FEA model of axial gripping rigidity about Lengthened shrink-fit holder and Cutting tool system with UG NX to analyze the influence with different interference,speed,gripping length and thickness on axial gripping rigidity. The gripping rigidity is one important parameter of the lengthened shrink-fit holder and cutting tool system, including radial griping rigidity,torsional griping rigidity and axial gripping rigidity,the reasonable interference of shrink-fit holder is obtained by contrasting three rigidity. Research provides a certain of theoretical guidance on the design of the lengthened shrink-fit holder and cutting tool system and choosing the reasonable processing parameters.
