Abstract

This document reflects partial results of the characterization phase of the research project, where approaches were made with the community to identify the territory, using temporality maps within the participatory methodology called: social cartography. In this identification process, the association to achieve productive development and rural competitiveness in Mesetas was determined as a territorial enterprise, which in recent years, after the Peace Accords, have been constituted in a large number under the collective and collaborative principle, to the channeling of resources offered by governmental and international cooperation entities; improve the quality of life of producers; access training programs; implement farmers markets; incentivize fair prices, thus eliminating intermediaries; develop business skills; improve the marketing, distribution and even raw material transformation system to achieve optimal negotiation conditions, among other findings
