Abstract

Objective To analyze the application value of comprehensive nursing in the perioperative period of endovascular interventional therapy for lower extremity arteriosclerosis obliterans. Methods From March 2016 to May 2017, 64 patients with lower extremity arteriosclerosis obliterans treated with endovascular interventional therapy in our hospital were divided into study group (n=32) and control group (n=32) according to different nursing methods. The control group underwent basic health care guidance, and the study group underwent comprehensive nursing. The ASO-related knowledge scores of the two groups were compared. Results There were no statistically significant differences in the scores of basic knowledge, surgical cognition, and medication knowledge between the two groups before treatment (P>0.05); after treatment, the scores of basic knowledge, surgical cognition, and medication knowledge of the study group was (2.27±0.32), (2.44±0.39), (2.59±0.36), which were better than those of the control group [(2.08±0.23), (2.03±0.31), (2.28±0.27)], with statistically significant differences between the two groups (P<0.05). Conclusion Comprehensive nursing mode for patients with lower extremity arteriosclerosis obliterans undergoing endovascular intervention can improve the success rate of surgery and change the patients' cognition on the disease, which plays an important role in clinical research.
