Abstract

Research on channel transmission characteristics regarding communication channel path length is one significant aspect of Body Area Network Communication in Human Body Communication. Based on standing posture, this paper studied the transmission characteristics of different transmission channels in the same human body model and the same-named transmission channels in various models. According to the horizontal and vertical comparison, the analysis method firmly proved the positive correlation between channel transmission characteristics and the channel path length, even though the transmission channel is not a straight line due to the human body surface curves. This correlation can be put in this way that signal transmission path loss goes up with the increase of transmission path length.
