Abstract
In this paper, we investigate an emission model with two electromagnetic coils using two-dimensional ordinary differential equations. By carrying out the bifurcation analysis of the model, it is shown there are different kinds of bifurcation in this model, including Hopf bifurcation, and Bogdanov–Takens bifurcation. The obtained results may provide some new insights in electric firing models.
