Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to analyse the robustness of an adaptive computed torque control for robotic manipulators, against high-frequency modes arising from flexibility. We present a robot model taking into account the flexibility of the transmission and we show that, for sufficiently small values of this flexibility, the adaptive algorithm guarantees the boundedness of the closed-loop tracking error system.
