Abstract
In order to contribute to the understanding of the activity phenomena in late-type stars, we have obtained new CaII H and K emission line fluxes and equivalent widths for two RS CVn binaries, namely LX Per and SZ Psc, observed in several orbital phases. Both systems show a large activity and a flare-like phenomenon has been detected in SZ Psc.
