Abstract
We consider a multiaccess channel under the infinite source model and ternary feedback. We consider a recently proposed scheme for the decentralized control of transmissions through the channel, and we prove that it is stable, as long as the rate of generation of new packets is smaller than e <sup xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">-1</sup> .
