Abstract
Technological advancement in Optical Wireless Communication has led the race to harvest such a novel technique which is capable of providing higher data rates and at the same time lower power consumptions. To provide more cost effective solution and immunity to various losses, the use of mode division multiplexing (MDM) technique is proposed. In this work, 2 independent channel each having unique mode is used to carry non return zero (NRZ) encoded data of 10 Gbps each on inter-satellite optical wireless communication (Is-OWC) network. The impact of pointing errors is also studied in this work. The result are presented in form of BER and Eye Diagrams.
