Abstract

Objectives To investigate the efficacy and method of the treatment for subcapsular renal hematoma resulted from percutaneous nephrolithotomy. Methods We retrospectively analyzed the clinical data of 9 patients who underwent subcapsular renal hematoma resulted from percutaneous nephrolithotomy from March 2007 to August 2014. All patients were divided into A group and B group. 5 cases in A group received percutaneous drainage combined with urokinase.4 cases in B group underwent laparoscopic surgery. Postoperative hospitalization, postoperative pain score, expenses, complications and recurrence rate and other indicators were compared between the two groups. Results The mean hospitalization time in A group was longer than B group, there was statistically significant difference between two groups(P 0.05). Conclusions There is no significant difference between the clinical effect of laparoscopic surgery and percutaneous drainage combined with urokinase in the treatment of subcapsular renal hematoma, but the latter is worth of clinical promotion because of its simpleness, economy and slighter wound. Key words: Hematoma; Nephrostomy, Percutaneous
