Abstract

Two new types of rectangular waveguide loaded with latten are analyzed by using Fourier’s expansion-differential method effectively in this paper. The correctness of the new method is verified and the mode distributions of the new types of rectangular waveguide are obtained. It is shown that their bandwidth and transmission characteristics for single mode are improved, and some modes may be restrained by loading latten in the rectangular waveguide. It is useful for designing and applying in the parts of microwave apparatus.
