Abstract

In this paper, a linear consecutive-k-out-of-n: F repairable system with one repair man is studied. Assume that the working time and the repair time of the components in the system are both exponentially distributed, and each component after repair is 'as good as new'. By using the definition of generalized transition probability and the concept of key component, the state transition probabilities in the system are derived under a key component will have higher priority for repair. Some important reliability indices are also studied.
