Abstract

Phase-locked loop (PLL) is the widely used method to obtain the frequency and phase of grid voltage, and its performance is critical to the overall control system. For traditional synchronous reference frame phase-locked loop (SRF-PLL), voltage amplitude and phase are seriously distorted in three phase unbalance, the performance of the control system is degraded. Based on the principle of three-phase software PLL, the method of double second-order generalized integral phase-locked loop (DSOGI-PNSC-PLL) is studied in this paper, which solves the problem of serious phase and frequency distortion in SRF-PLL when the grid voltage is unbalanced. The phase-locked performances of SRF-PLL and DSOGI-PNSC-PLL under unbalanced grid voltage are analyzed and compared by using MATLAB/Simulink simulation. The simulation results show that DSOGI-PNSC-PLL can accurately extract the frequency and phase of positive sequence components of voltage when the grid voltage is unbalanced, and has good phase-locked performance.
