Abstract

We are proposing modified design and analysis of the polarization and confinement loss in photonic crystal fiber. We are proposing multi-core fiber having hexagonal geometry having different radius of air holes. The geometry has 37 air holes rings forming the cladding region. The structure is analyzed, simulated and designed by optiFDTD software. Simulation results of proposed design has low dispersion and confinement loss, such as the electric field distribution with polarization.
