Abstract

In order to verify mmWave radar detection effects of the target's radar cross section (RCS), this paper designs the multi-target detection task in the traffic scene to infer the principle of linear FMCM millimeter ultrasonic measurement of range, speed and angle, and points out the significance of the RCS analysis to radar detection performance. Additionally, the mmWave radar detection performance is examined. At last, the mmWave radar multi-target detection is tested in the simulated traffic scene, which helps verify the influence of RCS on the radar detection performance.
