Abstract

Capacitive voltage transformer is an important protection and metering equipment in power system, its reliable and stable operation has an important impact on the safety of power grid, therefore, the research and fault analysis of capacitive voltage transformer is of great significance to ensure the safety of power grid. In this article, an investigation and research on a burning accident of 66kV capacitive voltage transformer electromagnetic unit is carried out, through on-site inspection, principle analysis, electrical test and disassembly inspection, the occurrence process of the accident is deduced, and the specific causes of the accident are obtained. Finally, according to the causes of the accident, targeted preventive measures are given to avoid the recurrence of such accidents, which provides an important reference for the construction technology and fault analysis of the same type of capacitive voltage transformer.
