Abstract
The application of the scattering transfer matrix to the investigation and design of microwave-linear amplifiers is described. An analytical method for the design of microwave amplifiers is presented, taking into account gain, noise figures, and input and output VSWR. This method is used for transistors having a stability factor greater than minus unity
