Abstract

This paper presents the use of multilevel Green's function interpolation method (MLGFIM) for the analysis of design of metasurfaces for wave manipulation. MLGFIM allows fast matrix-vector multiplication in an iterative solution to large-scale problems. Due to the planar nature of typical metasurfaces, this multiplication can be further speed up by using fast Fourier transform technique (FFT). The convergence of the iterative solution is enhanced using the sparse approximate inverse (SAI) preconditioner tailored for MLGFIM.
