Abstract

This paper presents a design method of highpower density, wide output LCC resonant converter, which is suitable for high frequency, wide output voltage and high power occasions. In addition, the planar transformer adopted by the converter has low magnetic core loss at high frequency, and the size of the magnetic core is greatly reduced. It has the advantages of high-power density, high efficiency, low leakage, good heat dissipation and low electromagnetic radiation. The staggered structure is used to reduce parasitic capacitance and leakage inductance in the process of planar transformer core selection and parameter calculation. The working principle, theoretical analysis and parameter optimization of resonant converter are introduced in detail. Finally, a prototype of 500W is built to verify the theoretical analysis. The results show that the efficiency reaches 93% at full load. The experimental results agree well with the theoretical analysis, which verifies the correctness of the theoretical analysis and parameter design of the resonant converter.
