Abstract

This paper surveys a new type of analysis and design method for fuzzy control systems based on a dynamic fuzzy model. First a dynamic fuzzy model is proposed. An identification method is given to identify the dynamic fuzzy model. Two design methods are developed to design a fuzzy control system. One called the local design method designs a controller for each local model, then, determines the stability conditions to guarantee the stability of the entire fuzzy control system. The other called the global design method uses the dynamic fuzzy global model to design the controller. This global model can be considered a system over a time-function ring, so linear time-varying system theory can be used to design controller. >
