Abstract
Analysis and design of bandpass filter (BPF) and absorptive bandstop filters (ABSD using coupled transmission line is presented in this paper. Bandpass filter and absorptive bandstop filter are designed using eminent design equations of transmission line theory. Analysis of BPF and ABSF is carried out using both circuit and EM simulators. The EM simulation results of BPF indicate a bandwidth of 108%(2.401 to 9.9 GHz) with return loss higher than -15dB. The simulation results of ABS F indicate 64% relative bandwidth (RB) (1.356 to 2. 644GHz) with-26.33dB stopband rejection (SR) and an all-passband with-lOdB return loss.
