Abstract

Objective To explore the exercise adherence of breast cancer patients after surgery and explore the methods and countermeasures to improve exercise adherence of breast cancer patients after surgery.Methods A total of 120 patients with beast cancer after surgery from January 2011 to January 2013 in our hospital were selected and divided into experimental group and control group with 60 cases in each group.The experimental group patients not only received postoperative conventional guidance,but also accepted the psychological,cognitive and behavioral interventions; control group received postoperative conventional guidance.The effectiveness and the compliance of function exercise of the two groups were evaluated and compared.Results Experimental group patients with postoperative functional exercise adherence was superior to that of the control group,the difference between the two groups was statistically significant (P < 0.01).Experimental group patients with postoperative functional exercise effect such as:wrist and elbow,shoulder function,limb elevation and outreach extent were superior to those of the control group,the difference between the two groups was statistically significant (P < 0.01).Conclusions The comprehensive interventions can improve the limb function exercise adherence of breast cancer patients after surgery,reduce the incidence of postoperative complications and improve the quality of life of patients.
