Abstract

There are different types of Focus on Form instruction (Ellis, 2001; Ellis et al. 2002). This paper will provide a wide range of examples for the different types of Focus on Form Episodes that can be identified. In the first place, the paper will present the difference between Focus on Form and Focus on Forms instruction, it will then concentrate on the first one providing an outline of its different subtypes and finally it will present the examples obtained from an analysis of secondary EFL students' transcripts.
