Abstract

To solve the violent vertical vibration of ballastless track under high-speed traveling loads, a vertical vehicle-ballastless track coupling system was established that was based on multi-body system dynamics theory, wheel-rail system dynamics theory and finite-element method. This paper used the general explicit dynamic analyzing program LS-DYNA, and took a roughness of solder joints of high-speed railway and the random excitation of Germany-low-disturbance-spectrum as the dynamic vibrating motivation, to calculate the vertical dynamic properties of ballastless track under moving vehicles at a speed of 350 km/h, and to compare the simulation results with field test results. The comparisons confirm the feasibility of LS-DYNA in ballastless track simulation, and provide a practical method for further dynamic analysis and parameter studies on high-speed ballastless track.
