Abstract

Gas chromatographic measurements were made for benzene levels of straight gasoline mixed with alcohol-additive unleaded gasoline vapors. Commingled fuels with equivalent volumes of straight gasoline and 10% alcohol-additive gasoline had increased benzene vapor concentrations as opposed to gasolines that were not mixed.
