Abstract

The Berliana store sells furniture such as small tables and cupboards which are located in the Penggilingan area, the East Jakarta area. This store started selling activities in mid-2012. The development of an information system at Berliana store was aimed at managing the store's administrative system, especially for the sales department with consumers or buyers and goods inventory. The system development method used in this research is waterfall. Meanwhile, to design, visualize and document the system, object-oriented modeling or UML is used. The UML diagrams used for system modeling in this paper are use-case diagrams, class diagrams and sequence diagrams. While the programming language used is the JAVA programming language with NetBeans 7.4 supporting devices as the design medium. The results of this study are expected to make product sales and marketing at Berliana Furniture Stores more efficient and effective in buying and selling activities.
