Abstract
The main purpose of the work was to present the possibility of numerical analysis of the welding process and heat treatment with the use of the SYSWELD numerical software. Selected tools included in the SYSWELD software package are described in the paper. Examples of possible simulations of technological processes and the results that can be obtained on their basis are presented. The basic stages of the simulation, and the input data required to perform it have been defined. Two examples are also presented including simulation of T-joint welding process and grip hardening process of a testing machine. Results were presented in the form of color maps and graphs. In addition, their analysis was done. The conducted analyzes showed that the presented numerical tool can be a valuable source of information about the simulated process. The data obtained can form the basis for the optimization of individual processes.
