Abstract

The tools of modern sociology and behavioral economics allow us to empirically assess the possible impact on the change of prevailing preferences in the desired direction. The purpose of this work is the development and practical testing of tools for evidence-based assessment of the potential for changing preferences of the population in climate policy issues. As an information base of the study, the authors conducted an online survey of residents of Russian cities with a population of 100 thousand and more (744 respondents). The results were evaluated by multivariate regression analysis.
