Abstract
The purpose of this study is to describe (1) directive speech acts on Agnes Davonar's Last Paper Plane novels, (2) expressive speech acts on Agnes Davonar's Last Paper Plane novels, and (3) scenarios of directive and expressive speech acts in high school class XII . The object of research in the form of directive and expressive speech acts, data collection techniques carried out by observation (observation), the research instrument used was the researcher himself assisted with a data recording card, data analysis techniques were carried out with descriptive qualitative techniques, and the technique of presenting the results of data analysis was carried out with informal presentation techniques. Based on the results of the study it can be concluded that (1) directive speech acts in the Last Paper Plane novel by Agnes Davonar include: (a) ordering functions, (b) commanding functions, (c) invoking functions, (d) advising functions, (e) functions recommend, (2) expressive speech acts on Agnes Davonar's Last Paper Airplane novel include: (a) the function of praise, (b) the function of saying thank you, (c) the function of apologizing, (d) the function of blaming, (e) the function of saying congratulations, (f) condolence function, and (3) directive and expressive speech actual learning scenarios in Agnes Davonar's Last Paper Plane novel using two learning methods left two guests in KD 4.1 Interpreting the meaning of novel texts both verbally and in writing.
