Abstract

The presence system is a form of disciplinary supervision that has been implemented by companies for their employees. This fingerprint presence system can find out the level of employee discipline and reduce fraud such as data manipulation. The application of absence fingerprint-based is also used by PT. X to discipline its employees. The purpose of this study is to determine the communication strategies used and the design of an action plan in minimizing violations related to employee fingerprint attendance and efforts to improve employee performance at work. This study uses a qualitative description method with observation data collection techniques and in-depth interviews. The results of this research shows that communication strategy HRD PT. X , monitoring data and follow-up to the branch section can reduce violations related store employee fingerprint-based presence. The implementation of the action plan is making video reminders and facilities chatbot, which can also increase the employee perfomance.
