Abstract
The hood is an alternative to overcome the high intensity of sunlight. In this study the type of containment material treatment can be divided into 3 types of containment material, namely the type of plastic lid material, paranet and combination. For microclimate measurements, a temperature and humidity meter and a light meter are used. Microclimate measurements were carried out at 12.00 WITA, on cayenne pepper from 7 days to 35 HTS. Micro climate data analysis is done by interpolation to obtain the profile contour lines. The results of the study showed that there were different shapes and distribution of different micro-climate profile contours, especially in light intensity. At air temperature and air humidity can not obtain contour lines, because the results of the data from the research conducted are not much different. Plant growth rates in each treatment showed different productivity. In this type of paranet lid material shows better results compared to the type of plastic hood and combination material. In this type of paranet lid material produces an average dry weight of 247.9 grams.

Gambaran Umum Daerah Penelitian Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Subak Suala, Desa Jegu, Kecamatan Penebel, Kabupaten Tabanan. Pada minggu ke-4 (saat tanaman berumur 28 hari), sungkup paranet intensitas cahaya yang diterima lebih rendah dibandingkan menggunakan sungkup plastik, hal tersebut dikarenakan pada sungkup paranet memiliki kerapatan yang berbeda-beda. Pada sungkup kombinasi intensitas cahaya yang diterima lebih rendah dibandingkan dengan kontrol (tanpa sungkup), sungkup plastik dan sungkup paranet. Gambaran ratarata suhu dengan tanaman berumur 35 HST dapat dilihat perbedaannya sebagai berikut: Sungkup plastik memiliki jumlah rata-rata suhu yang paling tinggi, diikuti oleh kontrol (tanpa sungkup), diikuti oleh sungkup kombinasi dan yang paling kecil adalah suhu rata-rata pada sungkup paranet. Ini disebabkan karena cahaya matahiri yang masuk pada sungkup paranet lebih rendah
