Abstract

Sea transportation as a means of moving goods from one island to another or from one country to another plays a very important role and also makes a significant contribution to supporting the country's economy. In this study, the research method used is quantitative. The purpose of this research is to analyze the influence of ship movements and loading and unloading equipment on the smooth flow of goods at PT Tanjung Priok Port. For variable X1 (Ship Movements), the calculated t-value of 3.816 is greater than the tabulated t-value of 2.019. For variable X2 (Container Loading and Unloading Equipment), the calculated value of 1.613 is smaller than the tabulated value of 2.019. In table 4.2.8, a result of 22.078 is obtained, which is greater than 3.22. It is concluded that the variables of ship movements (X1) and container loading and unloading equipment (X2) have a significant influence on the smooth flow of goods.
