Abstract

This study aims to determine the optimal inventory control of cardboard raw materials at CV. Multirejeki Selaras, a Bottled Drinking Water company in 2020 using the Economic Order Quantity method. The research was conducted using quantitative descriptive methods by describing how the company controls inventory and then the data obtained were analyzed using the EOQ method. The results showed that the cardboard raw material inventory control was implemented by CV. Multirejeki Selaras is not yet optimal. This can be seen from the resulting TIC value whereby using the EOQ method the company can make savings of 53%. By using the EOQ method, the optimal number of cardboard purchases is 129,839 units with a frequency of ordering 13 times a year. The number of safety supplies that must be available in the company is 15,457 units. The re-order point for purchasing boxes is when the available boxes are 38,657 units.
