Abstract

Abstract. This Bearpath company is a company engaged in the industry that produces mountain slippers. This study aims to determine whether the product quality control has been well controlled or not by analyzing the type of damaged product on mountain slippers or Sandal Gunung, determining the factors causing product damage and looking for repair solutions to minimize damaged products in bearpath companies. This research was conducted using the Statistical Quality Control (SQC) method; check sheet, histogram, scatter diagram, pareto diagram, flowchart, p ̅-chart, and causal diagram. The results showed that the type of damage that occurred was due to untidy stitches and due to uneven glue. It is known that the average number of damaged products is around 5% from 1st January to 30th January 2022, and the average damaged product per day is 5.2 pairs, rounded to 6 pairs of mountain slippers per day. Furthermore, the results were obtained that the highest level of damage was caused by uneven glue as much as 55% and damage caused by untidy stitches as much as 45%. The causative factor of damage in the production process of mountain slippers, due to the absence of Standard Operating Procedures. The obsolete style of work, less skilled workers, unnecessary conversations, less attention to detail and lose focus.Abstrak.
