Abstract

The learning conditions during the Covid-19 pandemic have been declared massive throughout the world. Researchers see this as a phenomenon that is closely related to the problem of student learning motivation who uses the concept of online learning during the pandemic. The focus of this research is directed at student learning motivation as measured by the existence of a theory which is used as the main reference. This study aims to determine and measure the percentage contribution of each motivational indicator from Herzberg's theory to determine the level of student learning motivation in online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. Subjects and samples in this study were all grade IV elementary school students in Cluster 7 Cibinong District totaling 121 students. The author collected data using a questionnaire distribution technique. The analysis technique used by the writer is descriptive quantitative. The results showed that the six indicators showed good results in accordance with the description of the research findings. The results of the analysis of the six indicators show that 57.9% are in the good category and 42.1% are in the very good category. This reveals information that students who are subjects in the study have good learning motivation in online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic. So that it can be recommended for consideration of research results for schools, teachers and parents in conducting online learning during the Covid-19 pandemic.
