Abstract

The research aims to determine the availability of settlement land to accommodate the population based on the population rate and projection in 2030 in Serang City. This type of research is quantitative descriptive with secondary data analysis. The study shows the population growth rate in Serang City in the period 2010-2015 reached 2,16% per year, with the highest growth rate, occur in Cipocok Jaya District 4,58% and the lowest growth rate occur in Curug District 1,15%. The population of Serang City in 2030 is projected to be 886.263 people, with the concentration of the population in the Serang District 272.009 inhabitants. Settlement land available in Serang City ini early 2018 is 82,40 square kilometre. Availability of settlement land in Serang City in 2030 is still available, with details of the projected minimum settlement land requirements of 13,7 square kilometre and the ideal projection of residential land needs of 57,6 square kilometre.
