Abstract

This study discusses the feasibility analysis of the Novel "Hafalan Shalat Delisa" by Tere Liye as a teaching material in high school. The purpose of this research is to know the value of character education in the novel "Hafalan Shalat Delisa" as a consideration of the feasibility of Indonesian language learning and literature in high school. The results of this research are the Novel "Hafalan Shalat Delisa" by Tere Liye can be used as a material for learning Indonesian language and literature in school because it is seen from values, in the Novel has the values of goodness for its readers. One of the values of character education consists of religious, reading, social care, national spirit, love of peace, honest, hard work, independent, and responsibility. Also, the Novel "Hafalan Shalat Delisa" fulfills on Valid criteria, beneficial, interesting, and has the boundaries of ability

Sinopsis Novel Hafalan Shalat Delisa

Novel hafalan shalat Delisa ini menceritakan tentang seorang anak perempuan berumur 6 tahun yang bernama Delisa. Delisa mendapatkan tugas menghafal bacaan shalat dari Ibu Nur. Ummi, berjanji akan memberikan hadiah jika ia bisa menghafal bacaan sholat, tujuannya menambah semangat Delisa untuk menghafal. Ustadz Rahman yang merupakan guru TPA Delisa, juga banyak mengisi hari-hari Delisa menjelang setoran hafalan shalatnya pada Ibu Guru Nur. Semangat dan usaha Delisa tak sia-sia, ia mampu menghafal bacaan shalat. Setelah kabar tsunami di Aceh santer seantero dunia, Abi Delisa pulang dari Kanada untuk melihat keadaan keluarganya. Delisa sudah bisa menerima keadaan yang sangat pahit itu, dia memulai kembali kehidupan dari awal bersama ayahnya.Hidup di posko-posko yang didirikan sukarelawan lokal maupun asing. Dan yang terpenting ikhlas untuk menghafal hafalan shalatnya. Benda itu adalah kalung yang ada huruf D, D untuk Delisa.
