Abstract

This research is qualitative research that aims to identify gaps between current organizational culture with the desired organizational culture according to the employee's point of view. The study of organizational culture using organizational culture characteristic according to Quinn (2006) which consists of 6 dimensions, the dominant characteristics, organizational leadership, management of employees, organization glue, the strategic emphasis and criteria of success. Each dimension of the gap will be analyzed according to current and desired. The results showed that there were organizational culture gap between the current state with the desired organizational culture according to the perception of a employee. According to employees of the current organizational culture in general tend to be in the hierarchy culture that is internally oriented. While the desired culture in general is the adhocracy culture, the organizational culture externally oriented. A gap of the current organizational culture with the desired organizational culture on all dimensions of culture.
