Abstract
ABSTRACT Before or during menstruation, some women often experience menstrual pain. There are two ways that can be done to deal with menstrual pain, namely by pharmacological therapy and non-pharmacological therapy. The use of pain medication is a pharmacological therapy, this therapy is most commonly used for dysmenorrhea sufferers. Aromatherapy is a non-pharmacological therapy that is believed to reduce the level of menstrual pain. This research is to look at more effective treatment between the use of several aromatherapy and pain relievers for menstrual pain using cost effective analysis. This research is a pre-experimental study with a two group pre-post test design using aromatherapy and medicine. The research sample was pharmacy students according to the inclusion criteria. Respondents were given aromatherapy and medicine according to their wishes, then also distributed observation sheets to fill in the pain scale felt before and after treatment for menstrual pain. Then the data is analyzed and the ACER and ICER values are calculated. The results prove that the use of lavender aromatherapy is the most cost effective with an ACER value of Rp. 562.77 compared to rose and rosemary aromatherapy, while for the comparison of aromatherapy and medicine, the results obtained are that the drug (Feminax) is the most cost effective with an ACER value of Rp. 58.77 compared to aromatherapy. The ICER value obtained is IDR 200, which is the addition of the cost of rosemary aromatherapy to the cost of rose aromatherapy. Keywords: Analysis, Cost Effectiveness, Feminax, Menstruation, Painful ABSTRAK Dismenorea merupakan nyeri yang dirasakan sebagian wanita menjelang atau ketika menstruasi. Ada dua cara yang bisa dilakukan dalam menanggulangi nyeri menstruasi yaitu dengan cara terapi farmakologi (obat) dan terapi nonfarmakologi (tanpa obat). Penggunaan obat analgetik seperti asam mefenamat umum digunakan pada penderita dismenorea. Aromaterapi digunakan untuk mengatasi dismenorea tingkat nyeri ringan sampai dengan nyeri sedang. Penelitian ini untuk menganalisis efektivitas biaya penggunaan beberapa aromaterapi pada nyeri menstruasi dengan kontrol obat analgetik. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pre-eksperimental dengan rancangan two group pre-post test design menggunakan aromaterapi dan obat. Sampel penelitian ini mahasiswi farmasi sesuai kriteria inklusi. Responden dibagikan menjadi 4 kelompok. Kelompok 1, 2 dan 3 diberikan aromaterapi lavender, rose dan rosemary sedangkan kelompok ke 4 diberikan obat analgetik. Masing-masing kelompok terdiri dari 34 orang. Setiap responden diberikan lembar observasi untuk diisi skala nyeri yang dirasakan sebelum dan sesudah aromaterapi diberikan, demikian juga kelompok obat analgetik. Kemudian data dianalisis dan dihitung nilai ACER, ICERnya. Hasil membuktikan bahwa penggunaan aromaterapi lavender yang paling cost effective dengan nilai ACER Rp 562,77 dibandingkan aromaterapi rose dan rosemary, sedangkan untuk nilai ACER Rp 58,77 untuk obat dibandingkan aromaterapi. Nilai ICER pada aromaterapi rose Rp 200 yang berarti penambahan biaya pada aromaterapi rosemary sebesar Rp 200 untuk mendapatkan efektivitas seperti aromaterapi rose.
