Abstract
Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2 (SARS CoV-2) is a virus that attacks and causes respiratory problems with general symptoms of fever accompanied by a dry cough, shortness of breath, and in severe cases. Patient with comorbid diabetes mellitus are in the high-risk category if they get infected with Covid-19, with a 50% risk of death compared to those without diabetes mellitus. In Covid-19 patients, coagulation disorders are often found, and to assess the continuity of the coagulation process, a D-Dimer examination is carried out. Disturbances in coagulation are often associated with inflammatory processes in patients with Covid-19, and to find out, CRP levels are checked. This study aims to determine the relationship between D-dimer and CRP levels in confirmed Covid-19 patients with comorbid diabetes mellitus at the Jakarta Hajj Hospital. The research was conducted in June 2022 with a cross-sectional research design. Data was taken from medical records of patients aged over 25 years who were treated with confirmed Covid-19 with comorbid diabetes mellitus at the Jakarta Hajj Hospital for the period June 2021-September 2021 and obtained data for 80 people. Analysis of D-Dimer levels in this study with confirmed Covid-19 patients with comorbid Diabetes Mellitus were high (0.5 ng/mL) in 50 people (63%) and normal (≤0.5 ng/dL) in 30 people (37%). Meanwhile, on CRP levels, the analysis found that 55 people (69%) were high ( 60 mg/dL), and 25 people (31%) were normal (≤60 mg/dl). Keywords: C-Reaktif Protein, COVID-19, D-Dimer, Diabetes Mellitus Comorbid
