Abstract
This work aims to research and analyze network flow intrusiondetection using seven machine learning algorithms.A classic offline literature database (UNSW-NB15) was usedfor the computer simulation. In general, the algorithms obtainedsatisfactory results regarding the values of the metricsused and the computational time spent, contributing tothe mitigation of cyberattacks on computer networks, whoserelevance is essential for the security of computer systems.
