Abstract

Centrifugal pump is one type of dynamic pump, centrifugal pump is also one of the hydraulic fluid flow machines basically used to machines basically used to move incopessible fluid flow from one place to another. At PT. MESKOM AGRO SARIMAS, one of the production processes uses a centrifugal pump to supply canal water in the manufacture of mineral water. These centrifugal pumps often experience small or large damage specifically in the impeller. This study uses a failure mode effect analysis (FMEA) method to analyze the causes of damage to the pump used at PT. MESKOM AGRO SARIMAS . The FMEA method is a method used to analyze damage to components that might cause damage to centrifugal pumps. The results of the analysis found that the critical pump components based on the diagram are fishbone which has 5 failures with the highest value of Rpn.
