Abstract
This study was carried to determine the plant pest mite species in the provinces of Canakkale and Balikesir in 2009-2011. As a result of this study was identified 13 plant pest mite species belong to Tetranychidae, Tenuipalpidae and Eriophidae families. From plant pest mite families, Tetranychidae, determined as the most important families with 5 genera and 8 species. In this species, Tetranychus urticae Koch was found as the most common species of tetranycid.
