Abstract

We read with interest the case report by Rupasinghe et al. of a woman with a large arachnoid cyst who underwent elective caesarean section using epidural anaesthesia.1 We would like to report a similar case involving a primigravida with a large posterior fossa arachnoid cyst. In this case, however, the patient had raised intracranial pressure (ICP) and was awaiting neurosurgical intervention.
