Abstract
Aiming at the problem of energy efficiency of sensors in Wireless Sensor Network, based on the classic clustering routing algorithm Low-Energy Adaptive Clustering Hierarchy Protocol, a Distance-Energy Multi-cluster algorithm considering both the location and residual energy information of nodes is presented in this dissertation, which improved the process of cluster head election and the process of node communication. It partitions the network into three layers of clusters, according to the cluster head elected formula produce the best-cluster-head and ordinary cluster-head, and the communication between cluster head and base station use the multiple hops routing method. Thus reduced the adverse effect on the energy consumption of the clustering head, resulting from the non-uniform distribution of nodes in network. It made cluster heads distribution more equably and avoided the direct communication between base station and this cluster head, which has low energy and far away from base station. The results of simulation indicate that the improved algorithm effectively reduced the energy consumption and load balance, prolonged about 30% the lifetime of network and has a better performance than Low-Energy Adaptive Clustering Hierarchy Protocol.
